Main features

It is very easy to use the app for charging electric cars. With the help of an interactive map, you will have access to nearby charging stations, as well as detailed information about them, such as: connector types, availability, price/charging. In addition, you can simplify the entire process by applying specific filters: choose the type of connector suitable for your car (Type 2, CCS 2, CHAdeMO), the type of electric current (AC or DC), and the minimum charging power. You will receive real-time information on the availability of stations in your area, and you can create a list of your favorite stations.

Step-by-Step Guide for Use

The EV Spots app is free to download from both the App Store and Google Play. Once it has been installed on your smartphone, you must create your user account by selecting the “Sign Up” option:

Enter your email address
Create a strong password
Check the terms and conditions
Go to the next step

In the second part, you need to enter some personal data (name, surname, address, phone number), as well as the vehicle number. Are you done? Click on “send”.

Now you have access to the interactive map, where you can see all the EV SPOTS stations in the country. The EV SPOTS app guide is just as intuitive:

You can use the search bar to quickly find the stations you are interested in (at the top)
You can apply filters to check the availability of the connectors you are interested in (right, top);
You have access to useful information, such as: charging history, favorite stations, terms and conditions of the application (top left)
You can scan the connector’s QR code to start charging and have access to the most important questions and answers provided for EV SPOTS users (right, bottom)

Frequently asked questions

What are the payment options?

Payment is made directly from the EV SPOTS app, and you have two options: either top up your available balance or add your card to the app for direct payment from your bank account. We encourage you to download the app and quickly make a payment from the Balance section, where there must be a minimum amount of 15 lei. If you use a bank card, make sure you have at least 30 lei available in your account.

How can I change my user account from an individual to a legal entity?

Legal Entity:

You can register as a legal entity from the Pay via button in the main menu – Billing Details section. After clicking Add, select Yes, Save Changes, and you can enter your company details that will appear on the tax invoice.

ATTENTION !!!

– The tax invoice will be issued monthly!

At the beginning of each month, a tax invoice will be automatically issued with all transactions related to the previous month. After each transaction, a receipt will be issued (the receipt will always be issued per individual) to the email address; all transactions will be included as a total on the monthly tax invoice.

– The tax invoice is not issued retroactively to the change in the invoicing method!

Any transaction made prior to the change in billing method will not be included in the monthly tax invoice.

– The tax invoice will include all transactions made!

The system will consider all transactions made after activating this option as eligible for the tax invoice and cannot differentiate between the payment methods used (personal or company card).

How is payment made by card?

Payment by card is the second option for EV SPOTS users, but this is only done from the app. Once you choose this option, the app will automatically withhold the minimum amount of 30 lei. If the total value of the charge is less than 30 lei, within 5 – 10 business days, you will receive the difference in money back. Please note, the charging session will not start if there is no minimum amount of 30 lei on the card.
