EV SPOTS Express Point – Charging Stations Borjug Street – Sălsig, Maramureș

Maramures is one of the most appreciated ethno-cultural regions of Romania, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world every year. The traffic in the area is considerable, and to protect the environment, the entire community is open to the idea of ​​sustainable, green transport.

That is why, through a strategic partnership with Sălsig City Hall, a commune located approximately 35km from Baia Mare, we managed to develop an Express EV SPOTS point. We took over the operation of 3 fast charging stations (2 of them located in this EV SPOTS Express point and one adjacent, about which you can discover details here). Through this partnership, we can offer all EV drivers access to advantageous, environmentally friendly, and affordable charging solutions.

The Express Point is composed of 2 SCAME 60+22kW stations, each of which provides access to 2 DC fast charging connectors and 1 AC slow charging connector, as follows:

• station 1 – a 60kW CCS2 DC connector, a 60kW CHAdeMO DC connector and a 22kW AC Type 2 connector
• station 2 – same configuration as the first (1x CCS2 60kW, 1x CHAdeMO 60kW, 1x Type 2 22kW)

A total of 4 fast charging connectors and 2 slow charging connectors. Thus, both stations allow charging 2 cars simultaneously. And if you get here, you have 4 parking spaces exclusively dedicated to EV charging.

While you charge your car, less than 50m from the stations, you have a bar available where you can have a coffee or a snack break. And about 100m from the stations, you have a general store, if you need to do your shopping or quickly serve something to eat. Plus, if you want to visit the surroundings, you can start with the church located in the vicinity, approximately 200m, and then discover other traditional vestiges, as well as exceptional landscapes in the commune.
